This package contains:
  • 130 g cake mix, 100 g strawberry crème filling with dried strawberries, 30 g decorative edible roses (6 pieces)
To be added:
  • Dough: 1 egg (medium-size), 40 ml water
  • Strawberry crème filling: 400 ml whipping cream (2 tubs), 150 ml natural yoghurt, 90 ml water
Preparation:
  • Place the cake mix, egg and water into a mixing bowl, then mix with a hand mixer or electric mixer for at least 5 minutes, until the mixture forms peaks.
  • Pour the dough into a greased spring form (ø 26 cm) and level the top. Place onto the central shelf of a preheated oven and bake for around 15 minutes. Leave to cool.
  • Whip the cream.
  • Put the strawberry creme mix into a bowl with the water and yoghurt and beat well. Then fold the whipped cream carefully into the mixture and spread evenly over to the shortbread base.
  • Allow the cake to cool and set in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. Before serving add the rose decorations as per instructions on the packet.
Oven temperatures::
  • Electric oven: 200 °C - preheated
  • Hot air oven: 180 °C
  • Gas oven: gas mark 3
